So, I’ve caught my brother Thesh reading web hosting news today, and he told me he wants to build a website dedicated to his people on Andor and their costumes, traditions, language, etc. I thought it was all very interesting, but a couple of questions came up:

1) how is he going to handle all of that work alone? O_O A site like that is a load of work!

2) where does he get the money to buy the new domain AND the web hosting account?

I surely support my brother; I always did! But when it comes to webhosting and domain names, especially if they’re for big projects, it’s not going to be cheap at all. Unless he finds a VERY good host that provides him reseller hosting and/or shared hosting with unlimited features for no more than $10 bucks per year, he’s not gonna do it.

Thesh is a smart little boy, and I realized that after watching Avatar he’s gotten even more attached to his people on Andor. I can’t blame him for that, since he was an orphan before he entered our family, and that means a lot to him, because he misses his homeworld, his people, his traditions.

I heard that Andorians are people who are very attached to their planet and religious traditions. I also read the article that my brother published on Melon-Pop.net in the visitor section, and I found it pretty interesting, how the 4 Andorian sexes were created, the ancient warrior Shar’s story, the history of the planet, the family ties, etc. I just wish I had the financial means to help my brother fulfilling this project asap… but unfortunately he’ll have to count on his savings, and hopefully our brother Smokescreen will add something to it too, since Smokey and Thesh are very close with each other, much more than I am with either of them (no, don’t think bad now! it’s just that I joined the family later).

OMP another nine days go by without a single entry here. XD LOL! Alright, I’ve got to make peace with that by now. Mommies’ lives are busy 24/7, hehe.

So, I’m just digiting around with websites today. I feel kinda bored. Bah. I guess I’m just a bit tired. So anyway, I’m using this site, PicJoke, to create funny pictures online with the photos of my family and Nixon. Oh, he’d kill me if he knew about this, ahah!

They add new effects every day so there’s plently of stuff to try out. ^^ It’s nice, and it kills boredom pretty well! Also, I will try these effects on my wedding pictures when I finish recovering them from the corrupted CD. Aww this really sucks and I’m still upset about it. *sigh* Next time Nixon lends something of ours to a friend I want him to ask ME first! >.<

Looks like I managed to kick the bugger away from my brother Doc. :-/ Gah! How annoying! You can read about it in my previous post if you wish, I really don’t want to mention that again here.

Anyways, my brother Red Alert is going to rent a place to trade show booths, and banner stands of course. I suggested he rents a Pipe and Drape system too, but it’s up to him of course, even because Red is a security officer, so he’s good at keeping his stuff safe. You see, Red Alert and our brother Hound have setup a little family business to produce sculpted cars (little models, like collector’s items) and they want to exhibit their creations. That’s so nice, and hopefully I’ll get enough free time to give them a hand.

Now, other great family news: my mommy is 3 weeks pregnant! That was such a nice news, as I was really looking forward to have another sibling for the new year. Also, I’m going to be an uncle before the 2010 ends. In fact, my brother Ratty’s girlfriend is pregnant as well, and we’re going to assist them during the time, since Martina is new to the role, and Ratty is a bit lost right now.
